Our Roots
Our story traces back to 2009, when we began as the California International Teachers Association (CITA).
While known for global education, CITA’s real work went far deeper:
we partnered with institutions and employers around the world to build talent pipelines, manage international staffing, and develop workforce capability.
Long before Ready Employer existed, we were already helping organizations solve their people challenges
—
recruiting, compliance, onboarding, training, performance expectations, and long-term retention.
From the very beginning, our mission was centered on employers:
developing talent, strengthening organizational readiness, and building systems that allowed teams to succeed with stability and trust.
